Notifications refer to the messages or alerts that inform you about the specific events, activities, or important occurrences within the integrated environment. For example, you might want to receive notifications when a workflow gets imported into a project by another user or when another administrator has updated roles. These notifications help you stay informed and respond promptly to specific situations.
Following are some common scenarios for which the notifications are received:
In IBM webMethods Integration, the notifications appear on the Notifications Centre. You can check the notifications centre at any time to get updates about important events or changes without being constantly interrupted.
The notifications centre displays a maximum of 1000 unread notifications. Any new notifications archive the oldest existing notifications.
Click the bell icon on the upper-right corner of the IBM webMethods Integration page. The Notifications Centre appears listing all notifications.

If you unsubscribe to any topic, notifications received from that topic or source are not sent to you.

Move the slider on the corresponding toggle button to the right to receive notifications for a particular topic or source.

This action blocks the receipt of any notifications related to that specific topic or source.
You can mark a specific notification that requires attention by pinning it. Upon pinning, the notification is moved under the Important category. Thus, pinning notifications helps in managing and prioritizing your notifications effectively, ensuring that critical information remains visible and easily accessible amid the potentially large volume of incoming notifications.
Pinning notifications provides the following benefits:
Visibility: Provides prolonged visibility and remains under the Important category until you unpin or dismiss them. This is useful for ensuring that the important information does not get overlooked.
Organized: Allows you to create a personalized priority list or a to-do list within your notifications. This can be especially helpful in collaborative environments where team members need to focus on specific tasks or updates.
Quick Access: Provides a quick and easy way for you to access important information without scrolling through a long list of notifications. This is particularly beneficial when you need to refer to specific details or instructions.
Do one of the following in the notifications centre:
Pin notifications: Click the Pin ( ) icon for the notification you want to pin. The notification is moved to the Important section.
Unpin notifications: Click the Unpin ( ) icon for the notification you want to unpin. The notification is moved to the Inbox section.
You have the flexibility to remove notifications at any moment through the notifications centre. By dismissing a notification, you acknowledge the information it presents and remove it from your immediate attention.
In the notifications centre, click the Vertical Ellipsis icon on the notification that must be dismissed and select the Dismiss option from the Actions menu. The notification disappears. You can view the dismissed notifications in the Dismissed page.
In the notifications centre, click the Vertical Ellipsis icon next to the Inbox category and select the Show Dismissed option from the Actions menu.
The Dismissed section appears listing all notifications.

Click Restore dismissed on the notification that must be restored. The notification is restored to the Inbox.
In the Dismissed notifications section, click the Vertical Ellipsis icon on the notification that must be deleted and select the Remove permanently option from the Actions menu. The notification is deleted forever.
You can organize your notifications pane by grouping similar alerts. Grouping of similar notifications facilitates easier location and prioritization of important notifications. It also prevents the notifications pane from becoming overwhelming, especially in cases where numerous alerts are generated within a short period. You can customize the grouping options by topic, source, or severity.
Click > . The Notification Settings dialog box appears.
Go to Display settings.
Select an option from the Group notifications by drop-down list.
Click Save. The settings are saved, and all notifications in your Inbox are grouped as per your selection. For example, if you have selected topic, then all notifications in Inbox are grouped according to topic.
