The control's value attribute must name the jar containing the applet, or the control's href facet must contain a Portlet URL control that names the jar containing the applet. However, if the applet uses only a single class file, the control's codebase attribute must specify the base URL for the applet's class file.
Name the applet class using the control's code attribute such as MyApplet.class. If the applet is a serialized object, name the applet using the control's object attribute.
