Forgot username Usernames in Software AG Cloud are often the same as the user’s email address, but not always. If a user forgets the username, the user can request an email containing all usernames associated with the given email address by using the Forgot username option.
Security enhancements Security enhancements have been implemented in Software AG Cloud to address the vulnerabilities found in some of the third-party software components.

Release 10.17.1
Enhanced password policy While setting a password, the minimum character limit has now been increased from 8 to 16 characters. In addition, the usage of email in the password field is restricted.

Password and other security policies have been upgraded to our Software AG corporate security standards. See the New layout for the Policies tab entry in this readme for more information.
New layout for the Policies tab The Policies tab on the Administration page is now updated to show the new layout for defining the password policy rules.

The following fields are editable and mandatory to set the password policy: Minimum length, maximum length, uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numerical characters, special characters, and the number of previous passwords to remember.

The stricter password policies are not automatically applied to existing environments. However, when an Administrator edits any of the password policies, the new minimum standard is applied.
In addition, selecting the Restore default settings option will restore to the new, stricter default settings.

The new password policy scheme also mandates the activation of either two-factor authentication or password expiration.
Improved UI to display region information The help menu has now been enhanced to show the Region along with the version information for each environment.
Support for PingFederate as an Identity Provider in Software AG Cloud You can now configure PingFederate as an Identity Provider (IdP) for Software AG Cloud for single sign-on. For more information on how to configure IdPs, including PingFederate, see Configure Identity Providers.
Access webMethods.io IP addresses from Software AG Cloud The help menu now includes a quick link to the webMethods.io static IP addresses, which you may need to allow in your firewall.
Release 10.17.0
Enhanced interface of Software AG Cloud Software AG Cloud has been updated to the latest corporate branding, colors, and logo. In addition, the component name is changed from My Cloud to Software AG Cloud and is separated from the Software AG Cloud website.
Removed the option to select Locale The Locale (optional) field is now removed from the Locale information section in the user and profile editors.It was unused and did not contain all common languages.
Improved user field validation for external Identity Providers Earlier, while onboarding a new user from an external Identity Provider, if there were invalid characters in the fields for First name, Last name, Username or Email, the user was not added and an error message was shown. Now the invalid characters are removed and the user can log in.

Note: This tracking is a mandatory security measure to protect and audit actions like password resets for SaaS user accounts.

10.17.1.0.1432 SCI-7396 June 17, 2023 The Account Administrator role does not explicitly include the Cloud-Tenant-Administrator role.
A user with only the Account Administrator role is not considered to be a Cloud-Tenant-Administrator in the environment in which the user is defined. This prevented the user from performing administrative functions in the subscribed products, such as being able to promote API assets between environments in API Gateway.
This issue is now resolved by explicitly granting the Cloud-Tenant-Administrator role to Account Administrators.
