Delegated administration access enables administrators to provide restricted access to users with granular permissions to specific IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer screens. With controlled access to IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer screens, users can edit and view only the specified set of assets they are assigned permissions to and not the entire data.
Configuring UI Permissions to IBM webMethods iPaaS Users

The IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer user interface can be accessed by:
Administrators.
Users with default access to limited IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer screens.
Users with UI permissions to specific IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer screens.
Note
In this section, all administrators and users are IBM webMethods iPaaS users.
To configure UI permissions
Go to UI permissions.
On the UI permissions page, click .
In the Add Users dialog box:
Click Users tab.
Select the IBM webMethods iPaaS user either from the list or by searching for it.
Click Add.
Select a user.
Under UI permissions, select the assets and the respective functional actions.
Click Save.
The users are configured with access to specific IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer assets and functional actions.
Note
If you add users to the UI permissions page but do not give access to any assets, they cannot log into IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer. To enable these users to log in, provide them with access to the IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer screens and functional actions to allow them log in.

Note: IBM webMethods iPaaS users without administrative permissions cannot search for users in the UI permissions page.
To search for asset permissions assigned to users
In IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer, go to UI permissions.
Type a user name in the search field, and click Search.
