Managing Certificates
IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer employs SSL certificates to ensure secure communication with other servers.
IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer employs SSL certificates to ensure secure communication with other servers.
Add and view the certificates that are used in a single view using IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer.
To add a certificate
Go to Certificates and click .
In the Add certificate dialog box, specify the following details:
Field | Action/Description |

Certificate alias | Type the certificate alias associated with IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer. |
Certificate usage | Click Certificate usage to check if the certificate is used in any existing IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer asset. Note:

Description | Type a suitable description for the certificate you choose. The maximum limit is 1024 characters. |
Certificate type | Select one of the following supported certificates by IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer:

Keystore password | Type the password that protects the Keystore. This password is required to access the certificate in the Keystore file for IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer. |
Truststore password | Type the password that protects the Truststore. This password is required to access the certificate in the Truststore file for IBM webMethods Managed File Transfer. |
Key password | Type the password associated with the certificate. |
Upload Certificate | Copy the certificate from a location by either performing a drag-and-drop action or browsing to a particular location. |
Click Add to save the changes.
