Dedicated Status Page
Status pages allow you to check for updates regarding the availability of the IBM webMethods iPaaS environment, major, minor, and fix releases, incident history, planned maintenance events, or when IBM webMethods iPaaS reports or resolves an incident. When tenants are provisioned, you are automatically subscribed to the general status page.
If you are on the Enterprise Plus plan, you will be provided with a dedicated status page to monitor your tenants.
IBM will reach out to you and request that you complete the steps below for each of your environments:
Sign in to your IBM webMethods iPaaS tenant.
Go to Administration > Users > Add user.
NoteIBM will use this user solely to monitor your tenants. In the New User window, enter the following details:
- First name: IBM webMethods
- Last name: Monitoring
- Email: ibmipassmon@wwpdl.vnet.ibm.com
- Username: ibmipassmon
- Roles: Select the products you are subscribed to (such as Integration, B2B, API Gateway, and so on), and then click Save.
Disable MFA for ibmipassmon users.
To do this, go to Administration > Users, search for the ibmipassmon users, select Edit for each user, and turn off the Basic OTP authentication option.Create an email distribution list (DL) of individuals responsible for managing your tenants and share the email addresses with IBM support if you have opened a support ticket, or with your Customer Success Manager (CSM) if you hold an Enterprise Plus contract.
Ensure that this email distribution list (DL) is monitored, as you will receive instructions once the dedicated status page is created, along with alert notifications. The distribution list (DL) email ID is the user ID to connect to the dedicated status page. These email addresses can also be integrated into your internal monitoring system to trigger alerts.IBM deploys the dedicated status page components in your pre-production environment and monitors them for a week before making them live on your dedicated status page.
Once IBM sets up the dedicated status page and adds the user, the status page sends an automated email to the distribution list’s email address. If you do not receive the email, it may be due to your firewall blocking the statuspage.io domain. In such cases, coordinate with your network team to allow the status page emails in your firewall.
