The IBM webMethods Integration home page is designed to provides an intuitive and efficient starting point for managing the integration tasks. Before you start creating integrations, let’s first get familiarized with the IBM webMethods Integration Graphical User Interface (GUI).
IBM webMethods Integration home page is the first screen that you see after logging in to your tenant. From the home page, you can perform a lot of activites such as create and manage projects, monitor tenant activities, navigate to recipes, switch between environments and applications, see notifications, and manage your profile and settings with ease.
Here’s an overview of what you can typically find on the IBM webMethods Integration home page:
The main elements that make up the IBM webMethods Integration home page are:
Main Navigation: A top-level menu bar that provides access to different sections of the platform, such as Projects, Monitor, Recipes, Environments, App Switcher, Documentation, Notifications, Profile and Settings. This menu provides an easy navigation between various functionalities and is visible across all pages.
You also have sub-menus that allow you to navigate within the functionality. For example, the Projects tab has a submenu: Integrations, APIs, Events, Connectors, Configurations, Deployments.
Based on the user’s role and access privileges, the menu items appear.
Search Options: Tools for searching and filtering through your integrations, connections, and other assets are typically available to help you quickly find what you need.
Pagination Options: Helps you move through various pages in the home page.
By default, the home page displays all projects created in your tenant.
The App Switcher allows you to switch from the IBM webMethods Integration platform to other applications with a single click.
Click on the question-mark icon to view the following:
About: Product version with the link to view the release readme, information on how to contact IBM support, and copyright Information.
Getting Started: Single location where you will find links to trainings, tutorials, and webinars.
Documentation: Product help to the latest version.
Support: Support services on IBM Empower Portal.
You can view your profile information, manage settings and log out by clicking on the profile icon located at the top-right corner of the home screen. From here, you can do the following:
Profile: View your profile information.
User management: Get a quick overview of roles assigned to a user, create, edit, remove, and assign roles to users. The User Management option is available for tenant administrators (Admin role).
Settings: Configure tenant and user certificates, two-way SSL security modes, Data Dictionary Cache and Transaction Store, configure OAuth 2.0, configure your tenant preferences, and apply white labeling on your tenant as per your company brand identity.
Log out: Sign out of your tenant.
