Overview of Events

Events in IBM webMethods Integration signifies an external action that initiates an integration process. Within IBM webMethods Integration, a wide array of events such as triggers and listeners, are available to enable the initiation of workflows and integrations in response to diverse occurrences. This array of event choices provides versatility, allowing you to customize their settings to align with specific incidents or changes in your integrated systems. The events act as gateways to initiate your workflows and integrations within the IBM webMethods Integration environment. Thus, events simplify process automation and guarantees uninterrupted data flow across various applications and services.

The Events page under Projects lists all event types supported within IBM webMethods Integration.

Accessing Events

  1. Log on to IBM webMethods Integration.

  2. Click the project card you want to access in order to either view or create events.

  3. Click Events. All events created in that project are listed.
