Reloading a Package
If the server is running when a developer changes a Java service or flow service, you must reload the package in which the service is contained for the changes to take effect. Reloading the package invokes the VM class loader to reload the package's Java services and reloads the flow services into memory. Developers can also reload a package from Designer.
When Integration Server reloads a package, by default, Integration Server also reloads any packages that depend on the package. That is, in addition to reloading the package, Integration Server reloads any package that has established a dependency on the package. To skip reloading of dependent packages, use Designer to clear the Reload this package if any of the above packages are reloaded or replaced check box in the package properties for the dependent package.
To reload a package
1. Open the Integration Server Administrator if it is not already open.
2. Go to Packages > Management.
3. Click the reload icon in the Reload column for the package.
