Streaming Connection Aliases

Creating a Streaming Connection Alias
Streaming Configuration Parameters
Using Variable Substitution in Streaming Connection Alias Parameters
A streaming connection alias encapsulates the information that Integration Server needs to establish a connection between Integration Server and the streaming provider. Integration Server uses the connections to send events to and receive events from the streaming provider. As an event producer, Integration Server invokes the pub.event:send service to send an event. The sending service requires the name of a streaming connection alias to send the event. As an event consumer, an event trigger uses a connection established by the streaming connection alias identified in the trigger configuration to retrieve events.
Event specifications, which identify the topic to which events are published and the structure of those events, also set a streaming connection alias to identify the streaming provider to which events are published.
