Integration Server 11.1 | Integration Server Administrator's Guide | Managing Event Triggers | Event Trigger State and Status

Event Trigger State and Status
Each event trigger has a state and a status. The state indicates whether the trigger has been set to enabled, disabled, or suspended. The status reflects the current condition of the trigger. An event trigger can have a status of “Running” or “Not Running (reason)” where reason identifies why the trigger is not running, such as “Not Running (Trigger Disabled)” or “Not running (Connection Alias Not Running)”.
The following table describes the possible states for an event trigger.
Trigger State
Description
Enabled
The event trigger is active, allowing it to connect to the streaming provider. Integration Server retrieves and processes events for the event trigger.
Disabled
The event trigger is stopped. The event trigger is not connected to the streaming provider. Integration Server neither retrieves nor processes events for the event trigger. The event trigger remains in this state until you enable it.
Suspended
The event trigger is connected to the streaming provider but is not retrieving or processing new events. Integration Server stopped retrieving events from the streaming provider, but continues processing any events it has already retrieved.
Integration Server enables the event trigger automatically upon server restart or when the package containing the event trigger reloads.
