Restricting Login and Access accessibility to User Accounts
As an administrator, you can allow or restrict the login to API Gateway to only to the users who are a part of the Default team and not any other team. When you create a user, the user is automatically included to the Default team. If they are not included to any other team, you can restrict the login of such users to the application. The users thus restricted cannot access any API Gateway assets.
Note:
This setting is effective even when you have not enabled the Team support feature.
*To allow or restrict the login to API Gateway
1. Expand the menu options icon Menu options, in the title bar, and select User management.
2. Click Account settings > Account locking settings.
3. In the Login restrictions section, perform any of the following:
*Select Restrict login for users who are not member of any team other than Default. Users who are not a member of any team except the Default team cannot login to API Gateway or access the API Gateway assets. This is the default value.
*Clear Restrict login for users who are not member of any team other than Default. Users who are not a member of any team except the Default team can login to API Gateway and view the API Gateway assets.
Note:
If the Team support feature is enabled, then users can access the assets that are assigned to their teams in both the above scenarios.
4. Click Save.
